The discussion goes beyond simplistic ideas of sound as the only form of practical resonance and discusses multiple other types of resonance within and from outside the physical form. Channel and point interactions will be given as examples to illustrate many of these ideas as will certain ancient ideas of cosmology and how the Heavens and Heavenly bodies were thought to influence the entire being.
The first section, we will discuss the various levels of frequency and vibration in human beings.
30 min - 1 hrsThe second section will be a brief discussion of classical understandings of humans in relation to Heaven and Earth and how this relates to resonance. Overview of Qi anatomy in relation to resonance.
1 hrs - 1.5 hrsThe third section, will be discussion of the clinical use of resonance with regard to various diagnostic and treatment modalities.

About Brenda Hood
Much of Brenda’s CM education was earned in China: first with a degree in CM from the Beijing U of CM; followed by a PhD in Daoist Philosophy from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; finally followed by a Post-Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine under Professor Deng Tie-tao. During the more than 20 years she spent in China gathering this education, she worked with Chinese Medicine doctors outside the academic setting as well as studying with practical adepts of Daoist and Buddhist meditation. Once returned to North America, she started a stint as a professor at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR which lasted 8 ½ years. Presently Brenda is in private practice in Canada, she is working on translating and writing.
Some accreditation bodies have course approval expirations. If the approval expires, you will see a notice next to the name with a date of expiration: "[Until YYYY/MM/DD]". Please factor this date into your own renewal deadline. If an approval expires, you will be able to request that it is renewed and we will submit it for you within 2 business days. Renewals normally come back to us after 30 days. If your accreditation body is not listed under the "Approved" section, you may find it under the "Pending" section. That means that it is either currently pending approval, or that it is available for you to request: "[Upon Request]". New course approvals usually come back to us after 45 days. We use an automated system within our platform that allows you to make these requests in an easy and convenient way. Just visit the course page in your Net of Knowledge account and click the "Request Approval" button at the top. Each "Course and CEUs/CPDs" purchase grants you 1 request per accreditation body. If you request a course approval and do not complete it before its new expiration date, you will need to purchase another "CEU/CPD Add-On" to make another request. If the course is ineligible for approval with an accreditation body due to their subject-matter policies, it will be listed as "[Ineligible]", and no requests will be possible for the course.
