What is Spagyric extraction?
Spagyria, a practice originating in the sixteenth century and introduced by Paracelsus, focuses on separating, extracting, and recombining the active ingredients of plants, including their mineral components. This method aims to purify and enhance the individual properties of the plants before reuniting them through natural processes, avoiding extractive stress. The result is the production of highly pure mother tinctures.
In a traditional spagyric process, plant material is immersed in an alcoholic solvent at a ratio of 1:5 and stored in dark glass containers at 37°C for 28 days. After decanting, the residue is dehydrated and reduced to ash, which is then dissolved in the alcoholic solution. The final preparation is left to rest for 12 days before use.
Erbenobili, however, has introduced innovations in the extraction process to ensure maximum natural purity. The plants are processed in a greenhouse that maintains a constant temperature of 37°C, with controlled humidity and exposure to sunlight, moonlight, and music at specific frequencies. This extraction, which lasts 40 days, uses red wine and ethyl alcohol as solvents, improving the bioavailability and enriching the final extract with additional beneficial properties.
