This formula merges two traditional 2nd-century remedies: Fuzi Lizhong Tang (Rectify the Middle Decoction with Aconite) and Jiao Ai Tang (Ass-Hide Gelatin and Mugwort Decoction), based on the understanding that many women's health issues stem from imbalances in the Spleen and Liver.
