It strengthens declining yang energy and addresses water retention through a blend of traditional remedies, including Zhenwu Tang (True Warrior Decoction) and Fuzi Lizhong Tang (Rectify the Middle Decoction with Aconite), drawn from the 2nd-century herbal classic, Treatise on Disorders Caused by Cold (Shanghan lun). The drying effects of this formula are balanced by moistening the yin of the Heart and Lung with Shengmai San (Generate the Pulse Powder). Additionally, blood-moving herbs are included to relieve congestion and counter degeneration.
