Specifically formulated for the treatment of herpes simplex (cold sores), this popular formula comes from the Zhong Yi Wai Ke Xue Jiang Yi ("Chinese Medicine External Medicine Teaching Materials"), a contemporary Chinese medical textbook on external conditions, including dermatology. Its single herbal ingredient, Fu Rong Hua (Flos Hibisci Mutabilis), is acrid and neutral and enters lung and liver channels. It acts to clear heat and cool the blood, resolve toxins, and disperse swelling.
To Use: Apply externally at the first sign of a cold sore before the lesion has ruptured.
*Do not use on an already open, and especially not on an oozing, wet sore.
Available in 1/2 oz jars
