These exclusive Chinese bamboo boxes are ideal for easy and reliable moxibustion therapy. Boxes are available with one moxa hole (box measures 3 ¼” x 3 5/8” at its base) or two moxa holes (box measures 3 ¾” x 5 ½ “ at its base). They are specifically designed for using moxa sticks that have a minimum diameter of 0.6". You simply slide each stick into the top, metal-framed hole(s) where metal clamps hold it securely. The top cover itself is held gently in place by several small magnets, and its entire underside has a thin metallic veneer to help radiate heat toward the bottom opening of the box. Ventilation windows on opposite sides help ensure proper burning of the moxa, and a fine metal screen at the bottom ensures that no ash drops onto a patient’s skin. There is even a small nylon cord that attaches to hooks on opposite sides of the box, allowing you to easily and safely position the box over the areas requiring treatment.
